During their stay, individuals are blessed with the opportunity to enter into prayerful silence – free from social pressures of conversation – in order to focus on their inner spiritual journey. Other than times spent with a retreat leader or spiritual director, or during worship, retreatants commit themselves to a spirit of quiet. All meals are taken in a silent dining room.
