Stained Glass
Mankind has always been fascinated by the light that is reflected through a stained glass window. They tell the faithful stories about Jesus Christ, the Apostles and the Saints. Traditionally, the glass artist follows a liturgical text or a biblical story, becoming a spiritual witness to Christ in his craft.

The drawing is then painted with a vitreous paint (finely ground glass, containing metallic oxide pigments) to shade and color the glass pieces. It is then fired in a kiln and soldered together.
On Enders Island, we continue the tradition of creating stained glass works of art in our annual week-long workshops.
