A Lenten Hobo Honeymoon
With Sr. Theresita Donach, CSFN
March 12, 2025
Want to be a Hobo this Lent? The word Hobo translates to Homeward Bound; and for us, it is homeward bound to our God. This retreat will invite us to reverence the good seed and Loving Creator God planted within each of us before we were born…promising with our “yes” to bring life to our mutual desires; God’s for us and ours for God.
Lent means “springtime”… Come and welcome the new life that God’s longs to bring to each of us!
We invite you to join us for Holy Mass in the Chapel at 9 AM. Check in will begin at 9:45. Coffee, tea and pastries will be available. Included in this day is a hot lunch. This will be served at 12:30 in the dining hall of the Enders House, an early 20th century arts and crafts style mansion and the oldest structure on the island.
(the book A Lenten Hobo Honeymoon was written by Edward Hays)
