The Lord of the Rings is one of the most popular stories of our era. Written by J.R.R. Tolkien, a man whose view of reality was fundamentally Catholic, this monumental work is a treasure trove of insights into reality. This Day of Recollection will look at some of the many spiritual insights woven into the story of the Lord of the Rings. The hope will be that by pondering the beauty of these truths more deeply, we will be led to live our Catholic Faith more richly.

Fr. Michael Bovino
Father Michael Bovino was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Norwich in June 2020. He is originally from Stonington, CT and is currently serving as the Parochial Vicar at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick in Norwich.
