Finding Recovery Through Art
With Sue Ellen Landwehr
September 20, 2025
Using a variety of mixed media techniques such as collage, watercolor, and pen and ink, you will create a 12-step art journal, combining the benefits of art and the exploration of your recovery through the 12-step journey. Using guided techniques, including short meditations and writing prompts in a relaxing and supportive atmosphere, you will be encouraged to find your own sacred, expressive, artistic style. All materials are provided, and all recovery seekers are welcome, wherever they are on their journey.
The day will begin with Mass at 9 AM. Check-in and coffee will be at 10 AM in the Sacred Art Studio.
Lunch will be served in the dining room of the Enders House, an early 20th-century Arts and Crafts-style mansion and the oldest structure on the island.
The day will conclude at approximately 3 PM.
