Advent Day of Recollection

Advent offers an invitation to contemplate and pray into the profound experience of stillness and wonder. During some of our busiest activities, let’s take time to deliberately and slowly reflect on the idea of transformation. As we gather in the darkness of challenges, uncertainty, and losses, let us allow God to transform us, as he reveals Jesus, the Light of the World to us. Let our journey into the light begin with hope in our Savior. Whether change is gradual or sudden, let us ask with prayerful and grateful hearts to expand our capacity to love more deeply. Take some much needed time to surrender in the peace and quiet of the island.
