The Letters You’d Like to Write; A Day of Recollection
With Sarah Cortez
October 13, 2026
Anchored by joy and grounded in faith, we’ll spend time in prayer and meditation to consider the abundance of God’s gifts to us through the people who have made a difference in our lives.
We’ll recollect, and honor those important people from our life’s journey, and then write short letters to these people who have brought us spiritual gifts and practical skills throughout a lifetime.
We’ll use the time-honored practice of letter-writing to pen letters remembering and thanking those people whose influence has abundantly blessed us—family members, friends, mentors, strangers, and saints. The words from our hearts will flow onto the written page.
Join us for a day of spiritual nourishment grounded in your unique and unrepeatable history.
You are welcome to start your day with Mass at 9 AM. Check in and coffee with be at 10 AM in the Sacred Art Studio.
Lunch served in the dining of the Enders House, an early 20th century arts and crafts style mansion and the oldest structure on the island.
The day will conclude at approximately 3:30 PM.
