Prepare your heart for Christmas by creating this beautiful Illumination reminiscent of the medieval Books of Hours. In this class you will learn the ancient techniques of illumination and calligraphy while creating your own 8 x 10 Christmas themed illumination suitable for framing. You will learn all about calligraphy, painting techniques, color mixing, application of gold leaf and the making and using of shell gold. Instructions will be given in how to create a card from the design. No prior experience necessary.
