This retreat offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the Seven Sorrows of Mary and discover their profound relevance to our own lives and spiritual journeys.

The retreat draws inspiration from the poignant prophecy of Simeon when Mary and Joseph presented Jesus at the Temple: “This child is destined for the falling and the rising of many in Israel… and a sword will pierce your own soul too” (Luke 2:34-35). These words foreshadow the deep suffering Mary would experience throughout her life, known as the Seven Sorrows.

During our time together, we will explore each of these sorrows, recognizing how they mirror the challenges, heartaches, and difficult moments we encounter on our personal paths. By delving into Mary’s unwavering faith and resilience in the face of immense pain, we can gain deeper insights into our own struggles and find solace and strength. Through this shared reflection, we aim to understand more fully our individual journeys toward holiness and wholeness.

The retreat will begin with Check-In on Thursday, May 15, at 4:30 PM, and will conclude on Sunday, May 17, at 11:00 AM.
