Plein Air Watercolor Workshop

Join us for a day of painting and instruction on the beautiful grounds of Enders Island! We’re thrilled to offer a plein air watercolor workshop led by talented local artist Nancy Gardner. Choose from the fabulous gardens, seascapes, and architecture as inspiration for your piece.

Starting the day with a demonstration, Nancy will guide you through techniques specifically tailored for watercolors in a plein air setting. You’ll learn how to capture the fleeting light and atmosphere of Enders Island using this versatile medium, focusing on spontaneous and expressive approaches. Nancy will provide individualized guidance throughout the afternoon, helping you refine your watercolor skills outdoors.

This class is great for artists of all skill levels!

We invite you to join us for Holy Mass in the Chapel at 9 AM. The workshop begins at 10 AM in the Sacred Art Studio. Students will receive a boxed lunch, so you can continue to work or enjoy a picnic on the picturesque grounds of the Island.

Students will need to bring their own materials for this class.
