A healing retreat for grieving mothers, “Present in the Pain” looks at the experience of pregnancy and child loss through the lens of our Catholic faith. With Our Lady of Sorrows as our guide, we will look to the Scriptures, the Saints, and the teachings of the Church to learn how to grieve with an eternal perspective. We talk about trauma and the unique pain of child loss, discuss the ways it affects our lives, and offer practical tools for healing, including creative activities, a healing Mass, and prayer time together. Join other grieving mothers in this beautiful location for this special retreat that takes place during the weekend of International Bereaved Mothers Day.
