With Christian Careb
April 14, 2027
Spend a day with us as you dive into the fascinating world of dahlias! This workshop will focus on the essential skills of dividing and planting dahlia tubers, ensuring a beautiful bloom for seasons to come. Whether you are a gardening novice or a seasoned green thumb, this day will provide you with valuable knowledge to cultivate these stunning flowers.
You will begin with an introduction to the life cycle of dahlias and the importance of proper tuber care. You’ll then receive step-by-step instruction on how to divide dahlia tubers, a vital process for maintaining healthy plants and increasing your blooms. Afterward, you will learn how to plant and care for your tubers, setting them up for success in your own garden.
Throughout the day, you’ll take time to reflect on the beauty and resilience of nature, drawing inspiration from the regenerative process of planting and growing.
There will be a demonstration of dividing tubers followed by a Q&A session. Feel free to bring a few of your tuber clumps for advice on how to separate them.
Each participant will receive a bag of 8 tubers and a book of year-round dahlia care.
The program will begin at 10 AM, followed by lunch at 12:30 PM. During lunch, Julie will be available to answer questions. The program will conclude at approximately 3 PM.
Spaces are limited, so sign up today to secure your spot!
