A Day of Prayer and Writing Focused on the Sacred Heart of Jesus
With Sarah Cortez
October 10, 2026
Together we will reflect on the promises made to St. Margaret Mary Alcoque as our day’s basis for prayer, spiritual journaling, and reflection.
We’ll anchor our time with morning Mass, then later we’ll have time to pray in the chapel. Walking reflection will help us awaken our appreciation for God’s gift of creation and its beauty. We’ll also draw inspiration from the writing of the saints and artistic representations of the Sacred Heart.
Writing during this time spent with Jesus’s divine, merciful Heart will fuel us with its meditative
quietness, prayerful intention, and deep refreshment.
This one-day workshop will begin with Mass at 9:00 AM. Following Mass, please follow the signs directing you to registration. Coffee, tea, and pastries will be available before the workshop begins at 10:30. Your day will conclude at approximately 3:30 PM.
