There will be a 3 day journey to explore Scripture and the Sea. Water is the most essential element for life. Come learn what the Scriptures say about water, the sea and the deep metaphors used in the Scripture for new life, rebirth, and cleansing. From the parting of the Red Sea by Moses, to Christ sailing on the Sea of Galilee with his disciples, the Scripture is replete with stories about the sea, water, and its meaning for us to grow spiritually.

Sept 7  Water/the Sea. Its use in the Old Testament. The Flood during Noah’s day/The Parting of the Red Sea by Moses; Ritual use of water in  the Temple in Jerusalem.

Sept 9 Discussion of Baptism and the symbolism of water for the Christian life.
