Andrea Hoisl
Andrea started her teaching career at a co-ed high school, South Catholic High School, Hartford, CT as religion teacher and service coordinator. From there she went to teach at Xavier High School, Middletown, CT, an all-male high school. There she taught religion for four years and then became the Director of Campus Ministry for 24 years. In her 28 year tenure she also held roles as the Director of Faculty Formation, Religion Department Chair, XBSS Retreat Coordinator, Faculty Spiritual Life Committee Chair and Founder and Moderator of Environmental Club.
She is currently the Director of Office of Faith Events for the Diocese of Norwich, Norwich, CT. Her office oversees RCIA, Evangelization, Family Life Office, Youth, Young Adult and Adult Formation, Catholic Scouting and Ministry for the Disabled in the Diocese. She has served as Vice-President and President of DLENE (Diocesan Leader of Evangelization in New England). This organization is responsible for professional networking of Diocese across New England.
She has been married to her husband Tom for 35 years and has
three adult children.
