Daniel Varholy

Daniel completed his undergraduate work with a BA from Middlebury
College in Vermont majoring in English Literature and spent a summer
at the Breadloaf School of English and attended the Breadloaf Writers’
Conference. He completed an M.St. and D.Phil. from Oxford University
where he was a member of Magdalen College. He also has pursued
philosophy studies at the Angelicum in Rome and holds an MA in
theology from Holy Apostles College in Connecticut. Both in his
research and other professional activities, he has been committed to
studying the relationship of faith and prayer to literary, artistic,
scientific, and entrepreneurial activity. The study of poetry and the
encouragement of poetic ways of seeing are of particular interest for
Daniel in his creative endeavors.
