Deacon Steven DeMartino

Deacon DeMartino consults with St. Edmund’s Retreat in the area of Catholic Mission and Identity.
Deacon DeMartino received his graduate degree from the City University of New York Baruch College School of Business and Public Administration Executive Education Program, where his Master’s work focused on leadership development and operations management in faith-based, not-for-profit health and behavioral health treatment organizations. Deacon DeMartino is also trained in psychology, sociology and pastoral counseling, with a specialty in the assessment and care of those suffering from addictive disease disorders.
 
Deacon DeMartino continues to offer consultative and pastoral services to Religious Institutes and Societies of Apostolic Life in the areas of leadership team supervision, strategic planning, health and wellness systems planning and development, behavioral health interventions and Chapter/Assembly facilitation. Deacon DeMartino is active in board governance, serving on Religious Institute Review Boards and faith-based behavioral health Boards of Directors. He  teaches counseling theory and practice, as well as health systems management in a number of College programs in the NYC area.
