Grace Zazzaro

Grace Zazzaro is a fine artist, specializing in painting traditional, classical, and contemporary portable icons. Icons are defined as a representation of a system or style and symbols and are represented through culture, symbols, landscapes, and people.

Grace is an expert in egg tempera paint medium, gilding gold leaf, and iconography design. She gained her knowledge from more than twenty years in apprenticeships, tutelage, travel, and concentrated study under the renowned master egg tempera artists and iconographers of Russia, Italy, and Greece.

Grace is an established, professional American Iconographer cultivated through a direct lineage of Iconographers.

Grace is a professional speaker who loves to educate, sharing experiences from her travels and her spiritual life. She teaches on many topics including icons, theology, history, the materials used in the making of the icon, and the joy that comes from embracing God in every moment.
