Julie Alnwick
After a corporate career in marketing, Julie followed her passion for flower gardening that was inspired by her mother and grandmother. Having lived in California, Maryland, Massachusetts and now Connecticut, she has garnered knowledge of many types of flowering plants and their habitats. She has created beautiful and extensive gardens while discovering new and exciting plants to include in her design. Julie joined the Ender’s Island volunteer team in 2023 to immerse herself in dahlia care. As is typical of anyone dealing with this beautiful species, she has become a “dahlia-addict” and spends many hours working with the dahlias on the Island.
