After more than 27 years working in the corporate wellness and resort world while also serving in various ministries, she left corporate life in 2019 to answer a call to full-time ministry. She serves as a Spiritual Director with both the Murphy Center and the Jesuit Retreat Center and has experience accompanying individuals through ongoing Spiritual Direction and the Spiritual Exercises. Marie approaches Spiritual Direction with deep attentiveness to the presence of God, listening for even the smallest movements of the Spirit. Through evocative questions and a gentle, prayerful presence, she invites directees to encounter an affective and personal God in their own time and space. She considers it a humbling privilege to walk alongside another person on their spiritual journey.
