Maureen O’Brien

Maureen O’Brien is the author of the spiritual memoirs “What Was Lost: Seeking Refuge in the Psalms” and “Gather the Fragments: My Year of Finding God’s Love”.  A regular contributor to GrottoSt. Anthony Messenger, and Pause and Pray, she has published a novel (“b-mother), and a chapbook of poems (“The Other Cradling”); her award-winning short stories and poems have been published widely in magazines and anthologies.  After teaching Creative Writing to teenagers in Connecticut for twenty-five years, she now presents inspirational readings and workshops. Recent pilgrimages to Italy have widened and deepened her faith.
