Shawn and Dawn Kalis

Dr. and Mrs. Kalis (Shawn and Dawn) have been married for 41 years, and their marriage is stronger and more fulfilling today than ever. As a life-long military family who has traveled the world and experienced numerous marriage trials and temptations, the one explanation they give for their long and happy marriage is this: Jesus Christ is at the very center of the relationship, no matter where they are. Over the years, they have been actively involved in children’s, singles, adult, marriage, and family ministries. They are proud parents of seven children and have nine grandchildren and one on the way! Their favorite joint pastimes are praying, cooking, walking, playing cribbage, doing crossword puzzles, reading theology, and herding family members!
