Victor Goranvo

Victor Goranov is a Catholic seminarian of the Diocese of Sacramento. He was born in Bratsk, Russia, in 1991. After graduating high school, he spent six years as a security officer working in downtown Sacramento, CA.
He graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2015 with an A.B. in History. He is currently working on his Masters in Philosophy from Mount Angel Seminary in St. Benedict, OR, as well as a Masters in Divinity and a Sacred Theology Baccalaureate from St. Patrick’s Seminary and University in Menlo Park, CA. He speaks Russian and a little Spanish. He resides as his pastoral year assignment as a seminarian, at Enders Island Mystic CT and busies himself with working on his philosophy Master’s thesis, caring for Grace and Joy, two of the island dogs and the occasional volunteer work at a local restaurant. His interests include philosophy, history and computer gaming as well as making puns.
